Our Directors

Naomi

Founder and Co-owner

Naomi is our Founder and Co-owner of Kiddie Capers Childcare, passionate about providing an exceptional Early Years experience to all the young people in our care.

Having qualified with her NNEB in 2000 and working in a number of Early Years settings in the years that followed, she knew that she could offer an even higher quality of childcare and decided to take the leap and set up her own childminding business. 21 years later, Naomi reached out to Sarah when the opportunity arose to launch a nursery in Scaynes Hill back in 2018, forming the limited company that we see today.

Naomi holds a degree with the Open University, where she studied a range of modules including child psychology, children’s literature and law, alongside her L3 in Forest School – a key part of our curriculum. One of her passions is working with children who have additional educational needs and disabilities, an area which she has a wealth of professional and personal experience in.

Naomi is mum to four children (two boys and two girls!), a scout leader (of over 15 years!) and has a love for country music and going to the theatre in her spare time.

When we asked Naomi what she is most proud of, she said: ‘I am so proud of the company we have built and the dedicated and committed team we have supporting all aspects of the business. I’m so thankful for the wonderful children and families we get to work with daily – they are at the heart of everything we do’.

Sarah

Co-owner

Sarah is the co-owner of Kiddie Capers Childcare. Sarah joined forces with Naomi back in 2018 as Kiddie Capers Childcare Limited was formed. Later that year, they opened their first Nursery together, Scaynes Hill, located in the heart of the village on Church Road.

In 2019, they had the fantastic opportunity to open a second Nursery in Hurstpierpoint, set within Court Bushes Community Centre. This has gone on to be one of our most popular sites, now with a specialist baby room including a dedicated sleep area and garden for under 2's.

Sarah has over 25 years’ experience in the Early Years sector and holds a BA (Hons) in Primary Education, alongside Early Years Professional Status.

Sarah loves spending time on family adventures and is mum to a beautiful little girl!

Both Sarah and Naomi oversee the business from an Early Years perspective, ensuring we live our values through everything we do.

When we asked Sarah what she loved most about working in the Early Years sector and Kiddie Capers Childcare she said: ‘Having worked with children for many years, I love seeing their individuality develop and learn new skills. I’m so proud of the company and what we’ve achieved to date, most importantly being able to deliver high quality childcare and early years education to the local community’.

They have a beautiful daughter together and share the same vision of providing high quality and flexible childcare to their local community and further afield. When not at work, Matt enjoys spending time with his family and reading, particularly autobiographies and leadership books.
