Kiddie Capers Cuckfield is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and offers a stimulating and enabling environment for children between the ages of 0-5 years old. Our Nursery is based in the centre of a Sports Pavilion surrounded by lots of fields and greenery, we even have an area where we hold our Forest School Sessions.
The children love being able to watch people using the surrounding fields relating this to their own experiences and talking about all the wonderful nature they can see around them whilst they enjoy spending time in our outside area. In addition to our beautiful outside space Cuckfield has a dedicated art room for the children to be as creative as they want to be and let their imagination flow. We also have a beautiful sensory room where the children will spend time exploring our sensory resources, listen to stories and spend time relaxing and resting. Our sensory room also doubles as our cosy sleep room too. We have a large open room split into two dedicated areas. One for 0-2 year olds and the other for 2-5 year olds. This allows staff to build relationships with all of the children in the setting.
Aligned with our dedication to quality education, we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Our experienced staff members create stimulating activities that cater to each child’s unique needs, promoting their holistic growth across various areas of development. By incorporating play-based learning, social interaction, and structured routines, we ensure that children receive a well-rounded educational experience.

Forest School
Forest School is a growing philosophy in the UK and has been adapted from the approach of Scandinavian countries, such as Sweden and Denmark.
Funding Model
We offer both 15 and 30 hour funding for all eligible children.
