Meet the Childcare team at Kiddie Capers Childcare

At Kiddie Capers, we have an enthusiastic team of Early Years Practitioners who are committed to providing the highest quality care for our children. Our practitioners are selected following a rigorous recruitment process, during which we consider qualifications, experience and commitment. All practitioners have access to a wide range of training programs throughout the year, enabling them to continually build on their skills and knowledge, we pride ourselves on the high qualifications of our staff team and always exceed Ofsted’s requirements of at least 50% of staff members must hold a Level 2 qualification. Although the requirement is for only one person Paediatric First Aid qualified, to be on site, we aim for all our Practitioners to be First Aid trained.

Naomi is the founder and co-owner of Kiddie Capers Childcare. She has owned and operated early years settings for almost 20 years. She is NNEB qualified and has recently earned a degree at the Open University. Naomi has experience working with children of all ages in home, school, nursery and pre school settings.

Sarah is the co-owner of Kiddie Capers Childcare. She has worked in the early years sector for almost 20 years in a number of Leadership and Specialist roles. Sarah has a BA Honours in Primary Education and also has Early Years Professional Status.

Matt heads up all the non childcare parts of Kiddie Capers Childcare and leads the business. After a number of years in Senior Leadership roles in retail, recruitment and hospitality, Matt is now bringing those years of experience into our business.

Gareth joined Kiddie Capers as our full time facilities director in 2021. He has many years experience in the construction and home improvements sector. He now brings those skills to the continued maintenance and development of our settings.

Darren is now Project Manager for Kiddie Capers Childcare. He will be the lead on opening new Nurseries and other projects. With 12 years Military service and Project Management Qualification. Darren brings a wide variety of skills and experience to the team.

Alex has joined Kiddie Capers Childcare to assist with all non- childcare aspects of the business. With many years of retail and hospitality leadership, Alex brings a new range of skills to the team. Alex has a daughter and enjoys spending time with his family.

Lucinda has worked in childcare since 2005, working as a Childminder and in Primary School and Nursery settings. She has a foundation degree in Early Years and a Level 2 qualification in ‘Understanding Autism’ and is committed to supporting children learn through play.

Paula has worked in childcare for 20 years in various roles
including SENDCO and has a level 2 and level 3 qualifications in childcare,
along with a level 3 in management. Paula has also recently gained her Cache
Level 3 award for SEND in Early Years.

Danielle has worked in nurseries since 2012, she was previously a deputy manager for many years. She is level 3 qualified. A mum of two girls and loves spending time with family and family days out.

Emily has been working in childcare for over 18 years, having experience in overseas holiday clubs, nannying, school and nursery settings. Emily has a degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently working towards her SENCO level 3. Emily is a Mum of two and enjoys long dog walks on the beach with her family.

Claire is Mum to three children, aged 24, 21 and 19. She loves family time and lovely walks with her two little dogs. Claire has worked in childcare for 20 years and loves every part of it!

Georgia has worked in childcare since 2019 and holds both her level 2 and level 3 qualifications in childcare. Georgia has been both room leader, and a deputy in previous roles. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and going on family days out.

Toni has been working in childcare since 1993. She has had many years experience as a nursery manager. Toni is qualified to level 4 and a qualified Montessori Teacher. She has held many specialist roles such as SENDCO and safeguarding lead. Toni has 2 school age boys.

Laura has been working in childcare since 2007 and holds her Level 3 Certificate. Laura started with Kiddie Capers in 2021 as a practitioner before progressing through all positions to Managing her own setting. Laura loves spending time outside and encourages the children to do the same.

Lisa has worked in Childcare for 18 years and has worked as a Higher level teaching assistant in reception class as well as many years as a nursery deputy and manager. Lisa has both level 3 and 4 qualifications in Child Care Learning and Development. Lisa has also spent many years doing the role of SENCO.
